Over the past two years or so Games Workshop has become far more liberal with their licensing and fans of the franchise will have noticed a massive influx of potential Warhammer and Warhammer 40k games slated for release in the next few years. This brings us nicely to our subject today; Warhammer 40,000: Regicide.
Regicide is, at heart, a chess game set in the 40k universe and players will find themselves taking on the roll of either Orks or Space Marines in a bid to reduce their enemies to wet gobbets of flesh. Game modes include classic chess and the regicide variant that is based heavily on the equivalent miniature game.
